I am Maria Troncoso, and I am devoted to empowering individuals on their personal journeys towards mental wellness and self-discovery. With a deep commitment to understanding the subtleties of the human mind and behaviour, I offer a holistic approach that combines the transformative power of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with personalised techniques tailored to the unique needs of each individual.From an early age, I have felt a strong calling to support and accompany others on their journeys. Growing up in Armero, Colombia—a town marked by resilience in the face of tragedy—I witnessed the incredible strength of the human spirit. This experience inspired my passion for psychology and mental health, driving me to explore the complexities of human emotions and behaviours.Although I began my academic journey in psychology, my path ultimately led me to complete a degree in Political Science in 2014. This diverse educational background has enriched my understanding of societal structures and individual behaviours, providing a comprehensive foundation for my work in mental health.In 2021, I achieved an Anxiety Management Diploma from the Centre of Excellence, where I explored various topics, including types of anxiety, cognitive behavioural therapy, and mindfulness. This training has equipped me with practical tools to help individuals navigate mental health challenges and develop effective coping strategies. Additionally, I recently completed a diploma as a Kundalini facilitator, broadening my understanding of holistic healing practices.I believe that every person is unique, and healing is not a one-size-fits-all process. My methodology is rooted in the belief that understanding the core of who you are allows us to begin your transformative journey together.
